How do you feel when you see a local mom-and-pop shop competing with big corporations?

When I see a local mom-and-pop-shop, I would rather purchase items from there rather than a big corporation who has the money to easily pay their employers, merchandise, food, and bills. Local mom-and-pop-shops do not get as much exposure as big corporations nor do they get as much money as them. The local shops usually only have their shop as their only income to support themselves and their families.
