Haaretz confirmed that two of the main sources used in that New York Times piece, one of whom, Shari Mendes, is also a key "witness" in the recently released Sheryl Sandberg hoax documentary, were recently confirmed to have lied about what's still to this day printed in the NYT.

Haaretz reported that zero evidence of any sexual violence on the bodies.

absolutely pathetic from NYT. Difficult to argue it’s anything but complete editorial bias top to bottom that allows these types of articles to go out. Classic muckraking.

Wow.Uncountable atrocities committed by Hamas, against innocent Israeli men, women and children on October 7.Now we are carefully parsing the word "evidence", as if that's the best thing that can be done right now ?Pathetic Pandering to Terrorists.

Facts don’t go out the window when someone commits a terrorist acts. That’s authoritarian bootlicking.

Not a huge surprise that a bunch of academics are now calling for revisionist history. They are getting as wound up by the recent protests as their students. These Hamas apologists are really starting to get out of hand.

They are simply asking for a review of the investigation process, methodology, because several stories have later been proven false or misleading. Not all of them, but too many of them, and journalistic institutions must be better than that. Period.

Early in the conflict, President Biden said that Hamas had beheaded 10 babies. Turns out, there were no babies beheaded. Of the 1200 people killed on October 7th, only 36 were children (3% of total deaths). Hamas was actually practicing much more discrimination in avoiding killing children than the IDF (60% of total deaths).

It seems to me that there was rape and sexual violence committed by Hamas fighters. But I have no idea to what extent, because I honestly can't tell whether it's like the 10 babies or not, if the accounts are exaggerated or to what extent they are exaggerated. That's why we need honest reporting.

The problem is that Israelis have lied so often about what happened on October 7 -- Hamas beheaded forty babies, Hamas baked babies in an oven etc. -- that even when they're telling the truth nobody believes them.

I have no doubt that Hamas committed acts of sexual violence on October 7, but the extent of that violence may never be known because Israel refuses to allow independent investigators to examine the evidence.

The question is not whether rapes occurred. They clearly did. The question is whether the details of the rapes are being exaggerated for propaganda purposes and to justify genocide.
