Yes, because I believe our current capitalist system lets the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. The wealth gap has been rising every year because the rich are allowed to do what they want and keep the lower classes below them. Sure, the rich are taxed more than the poor, but there are loopholes to get around those taxes that let the rich grow unchecked. Wealth will never be better distributed if we allow the system to continue the way it is.

I think that our capitalistic society benefits the rich much more than the poor, and there is too big a wealth gap between the two. I think that large multi billion dollar corporations should pay higher taxes than poorer people and the government should then use the extra money for programs for the poor.

I would try to help bridge the wealth disparity created between the rich and the poor as a result of capitalist systems.

 @9H9N8YTanswered…5mos5MO

We should impose more taxes on the rich and prevent these rich people/companies from creating monopolies or trying to evade paying taxes in order to keep our economy stable. This could also give more opportunities for the poor or lower-class people to live a stable life.

 @9H9MBBFanswered…5mos5MO

I would create a policy similar to the Sherman anti-trust act so that the huge mega corporations are less powerful and so that the funds accumulated by them can be allocated to things that require economic backing like higher education and healthcare.

 @9HB7TQTDemocrat  from Texas answered…5mos5MO

I would reform the system into one that maintains a proper social safety net, encouraging the Nordic capitalist system. This system would additionally provide higher regulation on large corporations to protect workers, consumers, and the environment

The American capitalist system has always provided more for the wealthy than the impoverished. In order to start eliminating this bias the rich must pay more taxes than they do right now.

There is some lacking in the capitalist system, where the poor remain poor while the rich get richer. There should at least be some help for poorer people who can't afford basic needs like food, water, etc.

Big companies are gaining too much power and influence and do not have the peoples interests in mind. Socialism puts people over profit.

 @9HBQ3SP from Pennsylvania answered…5mos5MO

Yes, I believe our capitalist system is built to build up the rich and allow the poor the suffer more than they already have. I think the richer you are the more taxes you should pay, why should poor people pay the same amount of tax a billionaire pays?

Many people would not like me but with my beliefs and me being a republican, I have dealt with democrats' a certain amount. I believe in certain things that trump was on his way to do but people got mad and impeached him and many democrats are regretting that and wanting Biden to do some of the things that Trump was on his way to do. When trump was in office we had the lowest gas prices in history, in equal to minimum wage

I believe capitalism works only in specific situations. At the moment in America, capitalism has failed the lower and middle class, while extremely benefitting the upper class.

 @9H6SBN5  from Illinois answered…5mos5MO

I'd redistribute the wealth, not evenly, but not in the hands of the 1% and make it impossible for that 1% to ever happen again through policy and law, as well as hard trust busting.

 @9H7M9YM from Michigan answered…5mos5MO

In allowing each individual to act unhampered by government regulations, capitalism causes wealth to be created in the most efficient manner possible which ultimately raises the standard of living, increases the economic opportunities, and makes available an ever growing supply of products for everyone.
