I'm not sure what you think CRT is, but it's not that. Also, yes, racism is absolutely still incredibly prevalent in modern society, as it is built into many of our political and economic structures.

Critical race theory's main crux is the idea that racism is ingrained in our legal systems and policies, which can be a divisive concept. For example, the theory often points to the wealth gap between racial groups as evidence of systemic racism. However, it doesn't account for other variables such as education level, family structure, and more that also significantly influence income and wealth. If we are to address such issues, wouldn't it be more beneficial to focus on socio-economic policies that promote equality of opportunity, rather than attributing disparities solely to racism? What are your thoughts on this approach?

Why exactly do you think there is a disparity in education level or family structure between black people and white people in the US, if not for systemic racism..?
