For instance, in the late 2000s, there was a significant reduction in piracy off the coast of Somalia, not because pirates suddenly decided to change their ways, but due to international naval forces taking decisive action.
Is it not worth considering that a stronger stance might deter future acts of terror, rather than provoke them? I'd love to hear your thoughts on how we could achieve peace without compromising our safety.
