Israel is absolutely not the good side; they are a colonial apartheid state that has been committing war crimes and active genocide against the people of Palestine for decades now. If you've only just heard about this conflict because of the recent Hamas attack, then you've missed out on the decades of oppressive conflict from Israel leading up to this.
