I think it’s important to support Israel as I don’t think from what ive heard that they have a lot of resources, and they are in a lot of danger right now.

Actually, Israel has been on the dominant end of the colonial oppression of Palestine for decades now. They absolutely do not need additional help, as the Israeli apartheid state has been actively committing war crimes against the people of Palestine long before the recent Hamas attack. The US's support of Israel is literally helping to fund Israel's genocide of the Palestinian people.
