Israel admits the Gaza Health Ministry number of causalities are "fairly accurate" & "more civilians have been killed than Hamas operatives"
This is after 60 days of Biden & mainstream media relentlessly sowing doubt about these figures & thus enabling the killing of way more.
The comments appeared to emerge from an off-record briefing for foreign journalists conducted by military officials.
An unnamed IDF official cited by AP says that at least 15,000 Palestinians in Gaza have died since the outbreak of the war on October 7. The army says it estimates more than 5,000 of the Gaza deaths to be Hamas terrorists.
AFP quotes an unnamed Israeli official: “I’m not saying it’s not bad that we have a ratio of two to one,” noting that the use of human shields was part of Hamas’s “core strategy.”

Civilians should not be wrapped up in a war they have no interest in being in. Innocent lives are being lost because small groups of people can't find the humanity to just disagree. We need to help Palestine and aid those who need it.

The imposed doubt is on the claim that all of them are civilians.
Idk how anyone can conclude how many of them are civilians as no entity in gaza reports how many terrorists had been killed.
Also, it's hard to tell them apart as hamas militants are dressed in civilian clothes.

The same dispatch does also claim that out of 15,000 casualties 5,000 of them were Hamas combatants. So IDF are, yes, admitting one thing but seemingly only to push a very slightly more nuanced propaganda line.

The actual number is likely higher because the Palestinian ministry of health has had difficulty with regards to disrupted communications & counting the dead, as Israel has increased bombardment and day to day survival conditions on the ground have worsened.
